Ok, ok, I know I am really late posting today. I just now got around to working on the inspiration challenge. To be honest, I wasn't that inspired by today's inspiration piece. Don't get me wrong-it's beautiful, but other than the colors I didn't think I had any stamps or enough bling to come close to this piece. So I worked on some other projects and every once in a while I took another peek at the purse. Now you know I love a challenge so I decided to force myself to work on this one. I pulled out turquoise, lilac navy, night of navy, black and gold paper. I decided that some of the stamps in Baroque Motifs mimicked the pattern in this purse so I got it out. Then I decided to use a lot of gold embossing powder and away I went! I am pretty happy with the look of the card, though, those who visit my blog regularly know that this is so not my style! But that is why I do challenges and why I encourage you to...it stretches you, and gets you out of your comfort zone...sometimes with really great results. Here's what I ended up with.
Stamps: Baroque Motifs
Paper: turquoise, navy, not quite navy, lilac, gold, black
Ink: versamark
Accessories: gold embossing powder, heat gun, pop dots
Check back tomorrow because I'll be sharing some really cute Vegibella cards that I made with my paperpretties August card class.

WOW!! This is GORGEOUS!!! You did a great job on the challenge. Your card looks so pretty. I love it. I wish I could get into the challenges like you do. Maybe I should challenge myself to do more challenges. LOL
Sensational is what I'd call this card! Beautiful work! I think you accepted and overwhelmed the challenge with what you created here! It's beautiful, and I'm going to have to play more with my baroque motifs stamp set now that I've seen what you created! TFS :) Have a great holiday weekend!
This card is amazing! You took the challenge and did well with it! Thanks for sharing!
Very neat - you did a good job with the inspiration!
