I have been such a bad blogger lately. I don't know how all my blogger friends are doing it all! I just can't keep up and unfortuneatly the blog has been on the loosing end! When I left you last Monday, my in-laws had just left. Then I spent the week cleaning the house, decorating for Christmas, finishing up my Christmas cards, doing the laundry, baking, and attending my kids school concerts! My daughter's clarinet section had a progressive dinner for their end of marching band season party on Friday night. The last stop was our house for dessert and DDR and Guitar Hero! Here's a few pic's from the party!
We served lemon bars, brownies, cupcakes, several kinds of cookies, homemade almond rocha, punch, and hot chocolate.
This is my daughter Tyler and a few of the girls who were at the party. We had 15 kids all together.
These are some of the boys playing guitar hero.
Oh...and just in case you thought I forgot that this was a stamping blog, I'll share one card before I go! This is my Christmas card this year. It's a pretty simple design but I made 80 of them and as you can imagine, the coloring took FOREVER! I hope you are having a happy holiday season and are keeping up with everything! Hopefully, I'll be back to my regular blogging soon!
The image and the sentiment are from Stampabilities House Mouse designs. I just thought the sentiment was sooo cute I had to use it this year! I colored the image with watercolor pencils and blende with a dove blender pen. I embossed the whole image with sparkly embossing powder. The main card was run through the cuttlebug and the scallop border was done with my nestabilities. A little paper piercing in the corner and some brads and wala! Only 79 more to do!
