So last week before my son threw away the empty salsa jar, he turned to me and asked if I wanted it. Well, look at it...of course I wanted it!!!!
It was perfect because the label could easily be peeled off, the jar is symetrical and the words on the lid could be easily covered up. My daughter wanted a little something to give to her boyfriend for Easter so this is what we came up with.
Stamps:-An Egg for you (Asela Hopkins) by Cornish Heritage Farms
-mmmm....chocolate (Asela Hopkins) by Cornish Heritage Farms
-Happy Easter (Asela Hopkins) by Cornish Heritage Farms
-chick n' egg (Asela Hopkins) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Paper:-Prismatic Majestic Purple Light, Majestic Purple Medium, Frosted Kiwi
-Georgia Pacific smooth white cardstock
Ink:-Brilliance Graphite Black pigment ink by Tsukineko
-Copic Markers
-Adirondack espresso, Aqua & Eggplant dye ink by Ranger
Accessories:-Silver Cord (unknown source)
-prima flowers-brads by Queen & Co.
-grossgrain ribbon by Ofray
Tools:
-Nestabilities by Spellbinder-Paper piercer
We filled it up with Reeses Chocolatle/Peanut Butter Eggs.
Here is the lid. I should have used my Stamp-a-majig so the words would be straight but I got a little lazy. I don't think he'll notice...
It's probably a little late for you to whip one of these up for Easter but hopefully it inspires you to look at your trash in a different light.
Hope you are able to spend some special time with your family on Easter. Take Care!
