Beacon of Hope

Back safely from my quick trip to Atlanta. Got up this morning and made "camping breakfast". That's what my family calls it because we usually make a big hearty breakfast when we go camping. I hate frying bacon at home because it's so messy but this morning I got up and fried bacon, cooked potatoes, fried eggs, and had some banana bread that I baked last week. Great to have a Saturday morning to hang out together now that marching band season is over.

I colored this Thomas Kinkade image on the plane ride to Atlanta and made a quick card with it using some scraps of stuff that was lying on my craft table last night.

Sometimes I cook bacon in the oven. Its less work and it gets really crispy if you spread it out on a rack. But then the inside of the oven is trashed vs the cooktop. Bacon is always messy.

Card is beautiful!
