Welcome to the birth of a new year...2015 to be precise!
In honor of that, we've decided that our monthly challenge for January will be Birthday Wishes. We'd love for you to play along with us, and link your creations to the Inlinkz tool at the bottom of this post, or on the Dream It Up! blog, for a chance to win the stencil of your choice...and remember, using Dreamweaver products gets you bonus points towards an extra stencil!
Here is my fun birthday card using DL2039 Dog Die and the LX7026 Cheveron Background
I die cut the dog three times on three different pieces of patterned paper and then pieced them together to make this fun fellow.
For the Cheveron Background I mixed Regular Embossing Paste with brown Tap Acrylic Paints and then stenciled on white cardstock panel and allowed it to dry before assembling my card.
The birthday sentiment is from Friendly Phrases Perfectly Clear Stamps from Stampendous.
Of course, more birthday inspirations coming your way from our "B" team:
Thanks for stopping by!

Such a fun card Kristine! That dog always makes me happy. Love the papers you used and it makes a great card for a guy too.
That dog is adorable, you sure sold me on this die, what a cute card, love all the prints and your layout too.
This is beyond adorable.
Cute, crisp, and clean! Somehow the Chevron looks less brown and more "marsala" on my monitor. Glad you're on trend with that! lol.
The pieced dog is so cute!!! Fun card with all the patterns and colors!

I love that dog and your paper piecing has made him such fun. What a great card. Hugz
Kristine, your doggie is adorable and that button embellishment really ties it all together (pun not intended)! Thanks for all your beauteous creations this past year!

I love your coloring dog, is so beautiful and adorable!
That dog is adorable. Just makes me smile.
I have a basset hound and this is so similar in the face - his nexk is definitely thicker but I think this will be a fun die for Ted to send cards with! He has lots of spots so a large polka dot paper might look like him! He could send his BFF - best furry friend a birthday card! Very cute!

This is so cute! I love how you pasted and paper-pieced the dog and I also just realized that you used the chevron background stencil, I love it! Thanks for sharing.
