Put Your Best Hoof Forward

It's Dreamweaver Thursday for the Stampendous team and we have been sharing our "Wild" images all week so I combined both for today's card.

I've been using these stenciled Jungle Leaves on quite a few of my projects lately so I thought I'd share how I created it today.
To create the leaf panel I started by spraying Dylusion Calypso Teal and Lemon Zest Ink Sprays by Ranger® on a white panel.

Then I stenciled the Jungle Leaves on the panel with Translucent Embossing Paste and allowed it to dry.

This is how it looks when dry.  I split this panel in half and used half on this card and half on this card.

Card Instructions:

  1. Fold a 5 1/4″ x 10 1/2″ piece of Grey cardstock in half to create the card base.
  2. When the stenciled leaves panel is dry, trim the stenciled panel to 3″ x 4″ and back with a slightly larger green panel.
  3. Adhere stenciled panel to a 5″ square piece of patterned paper.
  4. Wrap two strips of ribbon around the panel and then adhere to the card base.
  5. Stamp Zebra on a white panel and color.
  6. Back image panel with black cardstock and then adhere to card.
  7. Adhere dew drops to card.
  8. Stamp sentiment on a white die cut oval panel and back with green and black die cut panels before adhering to card.

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this card! The color combo really rocks! Amazing! I'm going to try your color scheme on something soon! Of course your coloring is pretty darn awesome, too! Very nice shading in all the right spots! Or should that be stripes!? LOL!
