Playing with Sizzix

Welcome to the first day of the week long hop that the Stampendous team is doing with Eileen Hull Sizzix Dies!

To create this fun canister I started by decorating the die cut canister pieces.
I stamped the images with memento black ink and colored with colored pencils.

I folded on the score lines and created the canister.
I sponged Antique Linen Distress ink on the canister.

Then I die cut the two pieces of my Mushroom house and decorated it.

I adhered the pieces to my canister.

I decided that this is the perfect size to leave on my craft table to put my reading glasses in because I am constantly looking for these dang things!

You can see lots more great ideas with these mushroom stamp and die sets on this video!

And of course, as with most hops...we have prizes!

Go to the
for all the rules and to get the links to more fun creations!

Thanks for stopping by!

this is a fun project.
I see you used it as storage for glasses - my kids keep a pair of reading glasses
at my house so they don't have to worry about not having them available.
This would look so cute sitting on the desk, holding their glasses.
thanks for sharing.
