Thanks for the RAKS!

I received some lovely RAK's in the mail this week. I love this one from Joan. She said it's an "oldy but goody" but I had never seen it and plan on casing the idea!

The next three are from some lovely ladies in one of my yahoo groups. Thank you Jill Maloy, Melissa Ferr, and expecially Stacy Kirkus. Stacy's card came with a bunch of stampendous Bee images. I can't wait to play with those!

Bella RAK's

Just got back from a couple day's in Seattle. Lots of "Happy Mail" when I returned. Here are three Bella RAK's that I received.

This one is from Julie Masse. She is one of the other new members of the paperpretties design team. She makes beautiful cards. Check out her blog here.

This lovely Winobella RAK is from Kandi Kwirant. Inside was a lovely note from her congratulating me on becoming a paperpretties design team member. Thanks Kandi

Jammybella is from Valerie Erkenbrack. This was especially sweet as she had just sent me another RAK with some Creative Memories sticker last week. Thanks again Valerie!

Happy Mail!

Had a bunch of fun mail this week.

This card is a RAK from my friend Rochelle. She has been on vacation in Minnesota for the last three weeks. It's so nice to have her back home!

I also wanted to share some cards from my 6th of the month swap group. This is a fun and easy swap! There are six of us in the group and every month we mail our swap card directly to each of the members by the 6th of each month. So I get 5 cards every month and there is no "hostess" acting as the middle person.

Thank you Stephanie Beeker

I wanted to share this cute Bella card that Stephanie Beeker from Cananda sent to me. Stephanie is in the papaerpretties RAK group with me. I love the vibrant colors on Miss Bella. Thanks Stephanie!

Doing the happy mailbox dance!!!

Do you send RAKS? You should. I try to send out at least 3-5 a week. I know that when the recipients receive their unexpected card in the mailbox, it makes their day. We do so much of our communication by e mail these days that the special joy of receiving a card for no real reason is rare. I received three RAK's in the mail today and I am still grinning ear to ear. If you're like me you probably stamp more cards than you need to hoard. Go through that box and mail some out...it really will make you as happy as the person you send it to!

Here's what I found in my mailbox today:

These stickers were sent to me by Renee Brady. How cute are those? She said she found them and wanted to get them for me! What a sweetie pie. I can't wait to use them!

This card was created and sent to me by Christina Amador. She is a friend I have met through one of my yahoo groups. It's hard to tell by the picture but it looks like a store front window. Very cute!

This last lovely Bella RAK is from Anouk Martin. I met Anouk through paperpretties. She is a fabulous card creator and sends out TONS of RAK's to our memebers. Thanks Anouk!

RAK from Melissa Ferr

I received this lovely RAK from my new stamping friend, Meliss Ferr. I met her through Paperpretties and we are having a great time getting to know each other! Melissa works as a labor and delivery nurse a few days a month which is why she sent me Nursabella...it's a little piece of her! Thanks Melissa!

I LOVE RAK'S!

This has been a fun week at the mailbox. The last couple of days I have received several lovely RAK's.

This one is from Renee Brady. She is a stamping friend on one of my Yahoo groups. I love how the card opens.

This one is from Frances, also known as Stampowl. I saw a really cute card in her gallery that had a group of bugs in a band. As you regular readers know, my kids are very involved in band and I just fell in love with this image. I PM'd Frances to find out who made the stamp and she was kind enough to stamp me some images and send them to me! What a sweetie! I'll be working on a card with this image for the pre-vsn challenge and I'll be sure and share it with you.

This is a card that Beate made for me. I thought it was cute when I saw it on her blog but it is even more adorable in person.

Finally, this Emmybella card was made for me by Rochelle. The best part about this RAK is that it was filled with Ballonnabella and Emmybella images. I don't have those ladies so Rochelle sent me them to play with!

Thank you to all you wonderful ladies for your awesome cards!

Raving about RAK's

Wow!!! What a mailbox full of fun I had when I got back from my trip! This RAK is from Kristi Kwirant. It is sooo very cool in person. All the outfits are cut out of paper and glued on to the Bella's. Thank you so much Kristi!

This was a huge surprise. MizzValerie was thanking me for stamping her some Bella images and sent me the card, the coaster frame, and best of all...look at all the awesome SU! ribbons! I never bought any of the '07 ribbon combos and I am so excited to get to play with them! Thank you Valerie!

This beautiful RAK was made by Fareeda Mater. You can't tell in the picture but everything is embossed and looks really glossy and dimensional in person. I especially love the background Fareeda. Thanks!

Wonderful RAK's

I got some wonderful RAK's in the mail this week!
This cute little penguin is from Karen Haman (aka: kthaman). It was a thank you to me for participating in the inspiration challenges that she hosts every week on SCS. So sweet of her to send me a card. I should be thanking her for hosting the challenge. It's one of my favorite ones to do! Thanks Karen!

This Bella Rak is from Debbie Porter. I met Debbie through Paperpretties. I love the DP that she used for this card. So bright and pretty!
Thanks Debbie, you made my day!
