Summer Fling-Week Three

This is week three of the Summer Fling at Cornish Heritage Farms. This week Liz has the ATC line on sale for 25% off so if you've had any of them on your wish list this would be the time to hop on over to the store and get them!

I am not a part of this weeks blog hop but I did make a card with one of the ATC sets, Botanical Bliss.

There are opportunities for prizes by commenting on the blog hop so if you want a chance to win gift certificates and/or stamps start hopping here.

These stamps are on sale till Thursday too!

Thanks for stopping by!

We made it home safely from Reno. The kids jazz band got second place out of 16 bands in their division so it was a very successful festival and a fun weekend too!

I haven't stamped in a while because we've been gone the last two weekends but I have a card to share that I made a few weeks ago "just for fun".

Hot, Steamy, Love

The new Vintage Chintz backgrounder was released today at Cornish Heritage Farms. One of my new favs I think. It works sooo well with CHF stamps from the ATC, SEP, and Rummage Bin lines with it's vintage feel.

It's very subtle on this card with the red stamped on Red. I paired it with Domestic Love for this Hot, Steamy, love card.

ATC Fun

I hadn't really played with ATC (Artists Trading Cards) much. I didn't really see the point. But there was a challenge to make an ATC card during last weeks Dare to be Dirty challenges on SCS so I thought I'd give it a try. ATC's are a great way to try out a new techniques or to try out a color combination and they are fun to trade with fellow stampers too. They are great fun to make and then turn into cards. Here are two examples of ATC's turned into cards. The first picture shows the ATC. Measurements are 2.75 x 4.25 which is half the size of a standard card.

The second picture shows a completed card with the ATC added to it.

Stamps: Bodacious Boquet, Itty Bitty Backgrounds & Hero Arts sentiment
Paper: Celery, Bashful Blue, Cocoa, White
Ink: Celery, Bashful Blue, Cocoa
Accessories: gold brads, photo corner punch, cuttlebug embossing folder, word window punch, ribbon, hemp

The second ATC and card were made with the retired SU! Tickled Pink set. This is the ATC card that I made first

Then I made it into a card!

Stamps: Tickled Pink
Paper: Green Galore, Gable Green Pink Passion, Cameo Coral, White
Ink: black, pixie pink, pink passion
Accessories: ribbon from Michael's, ticket corner punch, circle punches, watercolor pencils, dimensionals
