Finally...I can stamp!

Finally back from three days in Portland, OR. The weather was awesome...not one drop of rain which is very unusual for the Pacific Northwest. I worked the whole time so I didn't get to do the tourist thing at all AND...I didn't get to stamp. But work wise, it was a good trip. I am off work today though and plan to stamp all day!!! I've all ready finished two cards and wanted to share with you.

This one combines two SCS challenges. Monday's color challenge was to use Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, and Old Olive. In honor of the "Dirty Dozen's" third anniversary, SCS is hosting member's only challenges this week. One of the challenges was to make an elegant card. I think this one fits the bill. I just love this hostess set, Garden Silhouettes. Elegant cards are not usually my style but I just can't help but make elegant cards with this pretty set!

Stamps: small script, Garden Silhouettes, Floral
Paper: Old Olive, Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, Whisper White
Ink: Old Olive, Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, always artichoke
Accessories: ribbon, cuttlebug embossing folder, CM oval cutter, ticket corner punch, sponge

This card is the oposite of "elegant". It combines this weeks sketch challenge, to make a Tent Talker card and today's limited supply challenge. The LSC challenge was to stamp with black ink on white paper and then NOT color with markers or coloring tools. Before you say anything-I DID NOT cheat! Look closely...that's black and blush paper you see on that cow image. It doesn't show in the picture but each of the flowers on the bottom row have a little bling in the center of them.
Stamps: Farm Feaver, Ginak
Paper: black, white, blush, designer paper from JoAnn's
ink: black
Accessories: ribbon, scallop punches, hole punch, bling

I especially love the color challenge card! Way to go! The tent topper is cute too. I don't know why I haven't ever made one.

Have a great weekend!
