Patriots Day Celebration

Today is Patriot's Day. I'm not sure it's a celebration but it is definitely a day for remembrance. I still remember watching those planes fly into the buildings and then hearing about the plane hitting the pentagon and then just staring at the TV in suspended belief. The kids were eating breakfast in the kitchen and I was trying to watch the coverage and yet shield them from the horror of it all.

I have heard that many people are trying to turn today into a "day of good deeds". I think that's a great idea!

GinaK is giving 10% of all purchases made today to the 911 children's fund. So if you've been putting off getting some great Ginak stamps, today is the day to do it. Even if you're not in the market for new stamps (but how could that be?) take time to hug your kids, tell your friends and family that you love them, and send out a few RAKS. It will make you feel good and will help make it a better world a better place! Thanks for visiting my blog. Have a great day!

This is a beautiful card in remembrance of that terrible day. I think we all recall what we were doing at the moment we witnessed the horrors of that day. Thank you for the lovely tribute.
