Yesterday's color challenge on SCS matched our California weather perfectly. Yellow and gray. We had a week of rain with sunshine the last two days and rain expected again by the weekend!
I struggled with this combo. I made two cards and really don't like either one of them but I thought I would share them anyway.
Stamps: Close as a Memory by Stampin' Up!
Paper: Prismatic white, Stormy Medium, Stormy Light, and Intense Yellow
Ink: yellow and grey markers
Accessories: offray ribbon, sponge
That was the first one I made. It's ok but I still wasn't happy with the color combo so I tried another one. I think this one would look great in other colors but not these....I guess that's why it's called a color challenge, huh?
