Challenge Chicks #19 ~My Favorite Product

Happy Monday! I can not believe it is all ready August 18th! 9 more days till the kids go back to school! Well, mine are off at marching band practice till 8 pm so I am hoping to get some time to stamp after work today. I had just enough time on Sunday to work on a card for today's CHF Challenge Chicks Challenge.

You probably all ready know about all the great stamps CHF carries in their store but did you know that in addition to all the great stamps, they also have a wide variety of other products available. Today's challenge for the design team chicks was for each of us to pick our favorite product and make a project using it. Well...it was pretty hard to choose just one but there are so many of us playing this week that if you go blog hopping you'll get to see a ton of great products!

The product I chose is Shimmers I-kan-dee Pearlescent Chalking Set.  These chalks are fabulous!  Julia Staiton wrote a great product spotlight on them here.

For this project I stamped the Streams of Living Waters in Adirondack ink and heat set it.  Then I covered the image in Versamark so that when I added the chalk it stuck to the paper.  When I was done adding chalk I sealed it.  I wish you could see the shimmer in the picture.  It's so cool in real life!

Most of the design team are playing today so have fun checking out their favorite products:
