Finally...a Monday Challenge Chick Challenge

November was so busy that I didn't dare commit to doing the weekly CHF challenge chick's challenge but life is feeling a little more on track so I get to play today! Well really, I had to play today because this weeks challenge is to use backgrounder stamps and I LOVE backgrounder stamps. They have so many great uses! Julia Staiton came up with these great ways to use backgrounders:

-you will never be out of style again as you are using classic patterns to create your own patterned paper in the freshest color combinations
-you can customize how you stamp the image or use a technique to suit the latest trend or style: clean, elegant, shabby, grungy, funky, whimisical, etc
-you can literally re-create anything you see in fashion, home decor, etc
-add a partial or full image to embellish already patterned paper
-bead creating and polymer clay possibilites

I didn't do anything really fancy with my backgrounder but I like how this card turned out. I used the open circle backgrounder because it reminds me of honey comb and I thought it would work perfectly with my new Kim Hughes set, The Birds and the Bees.

The bees wings are stamped on clear card sheets. How fun is that?
