Ready for fresh air, sunshine, new leaves, and flowers blooming?
Well, the Dream Team is right there with you! Our challenge for the month of March is...coincidentally...Marching into Spring. Per usual, we'd love to have you play along with us, and link your own creations to the Inlinkz tool on the Dream It Up! blog, or at the bottom of this post. Play as many times as you'd like. Those of you who work Dreamweaver and/or Stampendous products into your projects receive bonus points, but everyone has an opportunity to be the winner who receives the stencil of their choice.
Here's my hint of Spring:
I decided to combine all my teams challenges this week so this card is full of Spring colors, birthday wishes, and it uses products available from Stampendous, Woodware, and Dreamweaver which seems redundant since they are all super intertwined companies!
For my card I used
House Mouse Designs, Cheesy Gift, Crosswords perfectly clear stamps, and Graduated Dot Stencil.
I covered the entire panel with Sunflower Micro glitter, burnished it, and then poured the excess back into the jar.
I cut a thin strip off of the panel before adhering it to my card.
That's the strip that I used on Monday's card.
I colored the image with Copic Markers (yr21-yr23-yr24-e50-e51-e93-y15-t08-y00-yg03-rv02-rv13-rv14)

To create the glittery background panel I used the Double Glitter Technique.My teamy, Wendy Jordan, has a great video demonstrating this technique HERE.
I started by adhering a panel of Double Sided Sticky Panel to a white cardstock panel. Then I rubbed the back of the Graduated Dot Stencil with soap and then lay it down on the sticky side of the panel.
I sprinkled Crystal Micro Glitter over the stencil and burnished to cover the dots.
Then I shook the excess glitter back into the jar before gently lifting the stencil off the panel.
I covered the entire panel with Sunflower Micro glitter, burnished it, and then poured the excess back into the jar.
I cut a thin strip off of the panel before adhering it to my card.
That's the strip that I used on Monday's card.

I had forgotten about the soap tip - so thank you for reminding me. I have a load of glitter that I am trying so hard to use - so I know what I'm going to be doing with that glitter now.
