In the Sky

Happy Thursday all! I am looking forward to the weekend as it's the first one in forever that we have nothing we have to do! So much of our life is scheduled to the hilt. Looking forward to relaxing a little!

Get Well

I am running out the door to catch a flight to Atlanta but before I go I wanted to post this quick sneak peak at a new Saturday Evening Post set that is being released on Friday.


It's called common cold and it has several cool vintagy (is that a word?) images that are perfect for making get well cards. I just love this image. I can just imagine that this woman was all set for a night out but just isn't feeling up to it! I can't wait to send it to one of my friends the next time they are under the weather.

Dad's are Special

Sorry I haven't been around this week. I was camping Thursday through Sunday. We got home late Sunday and then I headed for Alabama on Monday. Still in Alabama but had a few minutes in my hotel room tonight to post a card that I made last week for the Father's Day Center's release.

Such a quick and simple card. I stamped the Bird Watching image in Memento Rich Cocoa ink and then sponged in different Adirondack dye inks. The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Casing Stampmomma

Yesterday's Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS was to case Lori Craig (AKA:Stampmomma). I knew exactly which card I was going to case with out even looking in her gallery!


When I saw this card on her blog the other day I loved it so much that I went straight to Ellen Hutson's store to buy the bird nesties. While I was there I also finally got the heart nestabilities and the butterfly nesties. So, for this challenge I decided to make a card like Lori's but with the butterfly nestie.
