Crazy Cat Lady

Hello Friends...

Played with the new cat2pudgie again and came up with this fun 5 x 7 flip it card.

I colored the pudgie with prisma color pencils and blended with gamsol and blended with blending stumps.

The hat was created with the Sizzix Party Hat Triplit die set.

Here is how the card looks when you flip it open.

I created the "patterned paper" using stamps from the stamps4partyhats set.

This was a really fun card to create and I hope you enjoyed it!

The Impossible Card

Hello Friends!

I've already posted these two cute cards on Instagram and FB over the weekend so you may have already seen them but I thought they deserved a blog post because they are so stinkin' cute!

I discovered this "impossible card" on pinterest on Saturday morning and couldn't wait to get to my craft room to try it out.

It is super easy to make and if you google it or go to pinterest you will find great videos with step by step directions.  The one I saw was for a 5" x 6" card.  I started with a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4 " base for both of these.

For this card I used the new Ladybug Pudgie set and the grass from the Borders Dies.

For this card I used the kitty's from the Mini Pudgies  and the Fluffy Cat Pudgie.

I hope you enjoyed these cards.
You will probably see more of these "impossible cards" as I am loving them!

From the Gang!

Hello Friends!

Did you see the newest Sizzix stamp and die set from The Stamps of Life?
Mini Pudgies is sooo cute!

Here is one of the samples I made with this set.

I used the Playful Stand Up Card Die for the card base but you could use almost any of the stand ups since you'll cover up the shape with those adorable pudgies.

Here how the card looks when it's standing up.

This is so perfect for all those office birthdays!
Here is a closer look at the pudgies...aren't the adorable?!?!

That's it for today.
I hope you you enjoyed this inspiration!

I colored with my Prisma Colored Pencils (black, sunburst yellow, Terre Cotta, Cool Grey)

The patterned paper is by Gaphic45.
The sentiment is Happy Halloween.

New Pudgies

Stephanie released a new Pudgie stamp yesterday called fluffycatpudgie.

This one is purrrrfect for all you cat lovers!

I made a couple of samples to share with you.

This one is a simple on.  I stamped the kitty on a colored piece of paper so I didn't have to color it.

For my second sample I used a square stand up card die.

I colored the kitty with Prisma pencil and blended with gamsol and blending stumps.

My fellow DT teamies have been filling up the gallery with lots of awesome samples.

You can check them out in the gallery!

Christmas Kitty

So..I guess I'll just say it...I am not a cat person.
I am allergic to them so I have never spent much time around them.

But even though I am not a cat person I can still appreciate the cuteness of this adorable image,

I colored the image with my Prisma colored pencils and blended with blending stumps and gamsol.

The ribbon is Creative impressions ribbon.

The sentiment is from the Tis the Season perfectly clear set.

Are you a cat person?
Stampendous has a ton of adorable cat images so be sure and check them out!
