Happy Thanksgiving

After the fun of yesterday's card I decided to make another card using the same ingredients!

This time I started with a step up card die.

I used the Turkey and pumpkins from the Turkeypudgie stamp set.
They were colored with Prisma pencils and blended with gamsol.

I just love the little extra that the leaf dies add!

And..I also used the Happy Thanksgiving die.

Tomorrow are more new releases from The Stamps of Life so be sure and come back to see what I made!

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanksgiving Stand Up

I have a card to share with you today that I love a bunch!

I used stamps from the Turkey Pudgie set.

I started with the Royal Stand Up card base.

I used paper from the Happiness Collection paper pad.

I colored the turkey and pumpkins with Prisma pencils and blended with gamsol and blending stumps.

Here is how it looks when it's closed up and ready to mail.

All the leaves were created with leaf dies.

I just love the way all the different elements came together on this card!
Now I just have to decide who to send it to!

Thanks for stopping by!

Now...go get stamping!

Chilin; Tommy Turkey

Happy Saturday!

Sharing my High Hopes blog post from yesterday.
I thought I would share a quick and easy Thanksgiving card.

I colored the image with my Prisma colored pencils.
(chocolate, Sienna, orange, yellow, grass green, cardinal, black)
I blended the pencil with gamsol and blending stumps.

The paper is The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby.
The ribbon is May Arts.
The twine is Doodlebug Designs.
The pumpkin button is from my stash but I think it was from Michaels.

I hope you enjoyed my card today.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Thanksgiving

Now that Halloween is over it's on to the next holiday.
This is the time of year when we get busy and tired, and a little stressed.

I want to encourage you to slow down and take some time to breath and think about all that we have to be thankful for!

This is the season of family, friends, and giving thanks!

I used the new Fall Foliage perfectly Clear stamp set for today's card.

I colored the image with Prisma color pencils and blended with gamsol and blending stumps.

Give Thanks

Happy Hump Day!

I am sharing another Stampendous fall stencil card today.

I stenciled the Cornucopia Stencil with regular embossing paste.
After it dried I replaced the stencil and then sponged on Tsukineko Splendor Ink on the image to color it.

There are so many fun stencils available from Stampendous and they are a blast to experiment with too!

I hope you enjoyed today's card.

Happy Thanksgiving

I just love this time of year...not because of all things pumpkin spice but because of all the awesome excuses for card making!

Teacher cards, my sons birthday, Halloween, and today....Thanksgiving!

I used the new Chillin' Tommy Turkey image from High Hopes.

I colored the image with Prisma color pencils and blended with blending stumps and gamsol.

I used the "outside the box" technique to trim around the pumpkins on the image.

The paper was some scrap in my stash.  It is probably from Michael's or Hobby Lobby!

The ribbon is orange seam binding.

I hope you enjoyed today's card.
