Inspired by Room 124

I haven't had a chance to do the inspiration challenge over at SCS lately but today's was such a fun one that I had to play! We were to pick a room from the HotelFox, in Copenhagen Denmark for our inspiration. I chose room 124:

Dreaming of cars. Antoine designed Room 124 and his concept comes from his childhood fascination with cars and his obsession with particular car parts: “We have been surrounded by cars for so long, that we don’t really look at them any more. I want to draw headlamps because their shape constantly changes, designers are always inventing. There must be something mystical about it.”

Here is the card I came up with:

All CHF Stamps:
-1957 Bel Air (GM)
-Cardmaker's Shapes (MLM)
-Diamond Plate Backgrounder

Paper:
-Prismatic black, Intense Orange, simply smooth white by Prism

Ink:
-Adirondack Pitch Black by Ranger

Accessories:
-Makin Memories Brads
-Silver Leafing Pen by Krylon

Tools:
-Photo Corner punch by EK Success

Well, I am working on painting my baseboards and stair railing, and touching up my kitchen cabinets today but I keep taking "card making" breaks. Not a very productive way to get things painted but much more enjoyable and I figure I've got the long weekend to get it done so I might as well enjoy it!

Hope you're having a "inspirational" day!

Nice job on this. You totally nailed it. Your card is like the room.
